Courte biographie
Luisa (Louise) of Tuscany, or Archduchess Luise of Austria, was the daughter of Ferdinand IV, the last Hapsburg Grand Duke of Tuscany, and his wife Alice of Bourbon-Parma. In 1891, she married the future Crown Prince Friedrich Augustus of Saxony and had six children in rapid succession. The Crown Princess left her husband and family in 1902 while pregnant with her youngest child. She may have been having an affair with André Giron, a French teacher. She and her husband obtained a civil divorce in 1903. Luisa remarried in 1907 to Enrico Toselli, an Italian musician, with whom she had another child, and then divorced again. After Emperor Franz Josef I stripped Luisa of her Imperial titles, her father created her Countess of Montignoso. In 1911, she published a memoir that caused scandal for its accusations against her former in-laws and politicians in Saxony. After World War I, she styled herself Comtesse d'Ysette.
