Alana Sapphire

I was on the fence about this book. There are things that are great and a few things that were .. kind of inexplicable. The part where she has to submit? Fucking annoying. And while there is note of supposed partnership, I don't see it. They are not at all equal per the plot. That bit is what kept it from being 5 stars for me.

It was a more angsty romance than I usually see with emotional events just as part of the plot line. They were not treated with quite enough seriousness though. The events would not be 'in passing' in real life.
