I love this author! Both her books have had two of my favorite heroines of late! Great heroes too! Hurry up and write more, please! :)
Another fascinating and unique heroine from Ms. Rhodan! The high fantasy bits were not my cup of tea, though they were cleverly sewn in to progress the plot (world-building in two worlds at once is challenging). I felt like some loose ends were not quite tied up but I get the sense that this might spin into a bit of a series and hopefully more of the story will be explained in future books! Also, yay for the cameo from Thorne and Dagger! Thorne is one of my favorite ever heroines! Can't wait to see what is up next. I love these heroines!… (plus d'informations)
Think I'm going to have to dnf this one right now. I keep trying and it doesn't seem to suck me in. It has a lot of elements that I like, a goth girl who's a witch for example. Still maybe it's that the hero was so susceptible to the bad magic right off the bat and I like my heroes just a bit more wily than that? IDK but I'm done for now. Might come back to it in a different mood.
