Some success, some failure but overall one has to probably concede Bloomberg's work in the mayor ship was on balance impressive. The book spends most of its contents on this period of his life. We learn precious little about his personal life. The one disturbing element of Mike Bloomberg that surfaces throughout his life is the massive use of personal accumulated wealth to influence outcomes, particularly political.
