I read through quickly the first time, and then read the book out loud.

Mr. Philipp brought [b: Juliette & Ryo|25364588|Juliette & Ryo|Peter Philipp|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1429106730s/25364588.jpg|45108765] to my attention, and asked if I would consider reviewing the story. I have empathy for artists and writers, and enjoy doing reviews to promote good book and art.

Children's books are where we find the artwork that brings value to a published work.

Reading to little ones who are hungry for mental stimulation, and want to learn is one of the most rewarding things a parent can do. The [illustrator: Johanna Dy ] has done a good job of helping spark the imagination, and opened a door to learning.

When reading a book aloud, I hold it out toward the kids and show them the pictures that apply to the story. The artwork and imagery give many opportunities for the reader to engage the children with color, shape and object lessons.

I recommend this in electronic and/or book form it is an excellent read out loud book.

Juliette and her little brother Ryo are playing separately. Then, she begins to describe a very magical place to Ryo. When they nap, they both dream of the magical place Juliette has envisioned. Their first encounter is with Dusk, the Night Fairy. She tells them Dreamland needs their help. The Moon Fairy, Luna, is missing. Without her, the moon won’t shine. Once again, Juliette’s imagination comes in handy as she imagines where Luna could be. But, there are some dangers in Dreamland and Juliette and Ryo must be careful. When they get blocked in a cave, Ryo’s imagination comes to the rescue.

I like the colors in the illustrations. They’re bold and the hues are darker than most children’s books. The pictures are expressive to the point one could almost gather the story just by the illustrations. I think children would love this to see how using your imagination can lead to such a big adventure. Parents would have fun reading Juliette and Ryo to their children. Maybe they can use some of their imagination, too. Rating: 4 out of 5.

Power of imagination!

This was an excellent children's book and I loved the story as it showed the importance of a child's imagination. The graphics were perfect for the story. The adventure of a magic forest and saving a moon fairy. Applause.
