I struggled with this at first, finding the characters a bit indistinct and the events confusing, but after a while it got me. The concept isn't that original, but it's a fun enough read and builds to a satisfying climax.
So bad it goes from so bad it's good to just plain bad. I kept reading in disbelief anyone could publish this. Useful as a calibration point for the bottom of the barrel sci-fi pulp.

Where is Rod Serling when you want him! Started out busy, then stuttered like Groundhog Day, then changed direction and gathered speed exponentially. I liked the way it was written and and how very believable the characters are. Great imagination!
Greg Tremblay makes the urgency and suspense even more intense with his narration.

This book has to be the best apocalypse thriller I have read so far. I loved it. As soon as I started reading it I could not put it down. There is so much going on that will grab you and keep you on the edge of your seat. There is action, thrills, scary parts, mysteries, romance and not just one apocalypse, but you get multiple!! How awesome is that??
The imagery and detail is incredible. It is almost like watching a movie they are so clear. For me, I know it's great when my favorite character is a serial killer and it's not just because it's taking place during an apocalypse.
This is a book that a fan of any genre would love.
