The bright and cheerful illustrations are not at all intimidating and the book exemplifies the "less is more" philosophy. A gem.

This book was just lovely! I have a music background and know quite a bit about Mozart's music, but didn't know about his avian inspiration. I would 100% buy this for a music classroom.

This book is a wonderful way to introduce children to one of the most beloved composers in history. The words are simple to understand and may even provoke further conversations about Mozart and classical music in general. The illustrations are whimsical and brightly colored, which will appeal greatly to children. The book is great for ages 4-8.

Lovey book about the relationship between Mozart and a starling he adopted. The illustrations were great, with a very retro vibe. The only criticism I had was the language was a little advanced for the intended age group. I give it 4 stars for the illustrations alone.
