I wouldn't classify any of these tales as scary; on the edges of suspense is more like it, but they fall short. The stories are original and that I can appreciate. Made for a younger crowd, maybe? Though the author did save the best for last, the story of the little fortune teller was my favorite.

i can't say these stories were scary, except maybe for the first one. i didn't find them very well written either,i'm afraid.All in all a bit disappointing.

I think some of these stories would make a great full-lenght book if expanded upon. I like the originality of the storylines. I did not think they were scary though, except maybe a little suspenseful.The author has a different writing style. In some of the stories were lots of sentences started but incomplete. I understand that these were interruptions in the conversation of the characters, but sometimes it was too much. Also the words were shortened or combined with apostrophes and this led to my having a hard time reading the story. Overall I enjoyed reading these and I really liked the stories on most. The book is a clean read and good for young adults as well. I really liked some of the storylines and found myself wanting to know more at the end of some of the stories.… (plus d'informations)

I felt these stories were written for the young adult reader. Nonetheless they were enjoyable although not actually scary for the adult reader. Each story is different with different characters in various settings.
