A brief outline of this book is best described by the author:
“This book will serve to encourage your heart, strengthen your soul, and stretch your faith.”

Mission Possible begins by describing the priestly role model that Jesus portrays for the husband in the household. Unfortunately, he will not follow this role if your spouse is not a believer. Becoming a believer while your spouse is not can cause stress, heartache, and discouragement.

Mission Possible is a detailed, scripturally based boot-camp for the believing spouse on a new Godly mission – to be a testimony and a representative of Jesus to your husband. D. L.McCarragher’s experience and energy presents the Word of God to edify and instruct on prayer, pitfalls and priorities.

The book is set up to use as a devotional or Bible study. It has a “Seek and Find” section with questions, discussion and addition Bible verses after each chapter. There are also short clever remarks inserted into the chapters that can only be described as Pure Encouragement!

I especially enjoyed “In the Meantime- Serve”. In this chapter she talks about serving the Lord, but doing so with respect to the husband and the problems that may arise. She explains how to make good decisions that will maintain love and peace in the home.

I highly recommend this book for individual or women’s group Bible studies. For those using an e-book, Mission Possible is very well formatted for the e-book format with easy chapter navigation.

For a modern Christian wife, hoping and waiting for your husband to embrace Jesus as his savior is not enough. With Mission Possible, Deborah McCarragher hopes to offer a guide to show your man the path to finding and creating a relationship with our Lord.

Like many North Americans, author Deborah McCarragher made many excuses for not going to church. Finally, in the spring of 1989 she attended with a neighbor. As she describes it, Deborah was “radically saved” that first Sunday. She took her two-year-old son and each week she became closer and closer to God. Her husband approved, but would not attend church. During this time Deborah decided that her husband was “on lease” to Satan. A “spiritual skirmish” was taking place—God’s desire to see a couple united together as one versus Satan’s opposition to Holy Union.

At this time many women may give up the battle for their husband’s soul, seek a divorce and a new man who is a believer. With Mission Possible: Spiritual Covering the author encourages women to stay the course as even good, moral men devoted to the marriage and family need help to find salvation. The book offers a step-by-step “How to” guide to showing your husband God’s mercy, love, and desire. Each chapter concludes with a “Seek and Find” section that presents questions concerning applicable scriptures. These questions help the reader fully understand and utilize the information previously covered.

Modern families are bombarded with temptations and numerous issues from financial concerns to troubles at schools and in communities. A couple with a shared spiritual foundation is better equipped to stand against these challenges. The struggle to help your husband develop a personal relationship with God is no easy task. With trust in your faith and the spiritual tools found in this book, this religious obstacle can be become Mission Possible!

The book was written for women, however I believe it would just as helpful to men hoping to show their wives the path to God. Religious differences continue to be a leading cause of marital break up. Mission Possible could save your mate and your marriage. Highly Recommended

Mission Possible is a spiritual and inspirational book that is a practical and sound marital guide that serves as a powerful tool for any woman who is married to a man who does not share her passion for Jesus. Author Deborah McCarragher motivates and encourages readers to embrace the powerful promises of God for yourself as well as your spouse, and understands personally how standing on those promises will allow the power of God to begin to take hold of the life of your unsaved spouse. Learn why many women do not openly express their “secret sorrow” and learn how to overcome your own fears and doubts about your husband’s future with God by reading this powerful and inspirational book, Mission Possible. Author Deborah McCarragher weaves the Holy Scriptures throughout her book, and shows how these scriptures can apply to our lives today and help us to win our unsaved husbands over to the Lord. Mission Possible is a definite, “must have” for any Christian woman who is living with the “secret sorrow” of being married to a man who does not share her passion for Christ. Mission Possible is inspirational, encouraging, spiritually sound, biblically-based, and was written based on personal accounts and experiences from a woman who knows, all too well, the overcoming power of God in any situation or circumstance. Author Deborah McCarragher’s mission is to encourage women through scripture to believe in God’s Word to transform their husbands, to teach women by using the spiritual principles in her book, to challenge women to get out of their comfort zones as they minister to their spouses, and to reach women for Jesus who are searching for answers when their marriages are not equally yoked. Mission Possible has enabled Author Deborah McCarragher to accomplish her mission. Mission Possible is a well-written, sound, practical, spiritual, and Biblically-based marital guide for women that I highly recommend.
