I remember finding the show when it came on reruns in Canada, probably around 1975. I remember it blowing my 12-year-old mind. And then when my Scottish stepfather told me it was a sort-of follow up to McGoohan's Drake character in his previous series, Danger Man (which I haven't seen even a second of), it blew my mind yet again.
Not even sure anymore if I managed to get through all 17 episodes and, even if I did, I can tell you my pre-teen brain didn't soak up a tenth of what was being thrown at it.
And yet, I'm endlessly fascinated (and always ultimately disappointed with) any follow-ups. Which brings us to this, a rather simple story involving the macguffin of Pandora, and whether Breen will break and give up its secrets. That's most of it right there. The story does a lot of homage to the original series, and tries to push the boundaries a touch, so I guess it should be complimented on that, but overall, I finished it and just thought, "okay, well...what am I gonna read next?"… (plus d'informations)
