Ronald J. Leprohon is Professor of Egyptology at the University of Toronto. He has written a number of articles publishing new artifacts, as well as a two-volume study of the ancient Egyptian funerary stelae in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. While not as encyclopedic as his work on Egyptian Religion, this text text is an outline of Egyptian history for the generalist. It is impossible to compress 49 centuries of history into 49 pages. As an outline, this work is remarkably even-handed because it gives approximately equal weight to all periods of Egyptian history.

This is one of the better introductory sources to Egyptian paganism. Prof. Leprohon is about two steps from polishing this into the best introductions to the topic available. The approach is for the generalist, but the solid scholarship bears many readings. Because it is unpublished, I give you the contents:
