A fast read with the thrill of the sea, abduction, and lots of tension.

The summary of this book does really that - it summarizes what lies ahead in this book. While it reads fairly well and quickly, it often felt very shallow and surface level to me. I did not feel particularly attached to the characters or the story. The most thrilling storyline was the last half or so of the book. Everything leading up to it felt predictable and almost unnecessary - the subtleties felt missing, instead showing obvious clues as to where the story was heading.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and premise of this book, but it was not a favorite of mine. If you're looking for a quick fun read, this does the job!… (plus d'informations)
