I can see how kids like a big yellow character with exaggerated features who's just like them and a baby bird to boot, but a lot of this . . . jokes, mazes, eight-panel stories . . . just seems a little generic, like there's nothing in particular about it that stands out or separates it from generations of crap to keep kids busy. Except the Chirp brand, and I do sort of understand his appeal.
