Three Black Skirts: All You Need to Survive par Anna Johnson
A bit dated, but good information, nonetheless. Not as much information on fashion as I'd expected, but an encouraging lifestyle and goals guide for women at any point in adulthood.
The author was raised by "hippy" parents, so she has a refreshingly quirky view of the world. Starting with a chapter on fashion, it becomes clear that her frame of reference is New York and Europe. She name-drops many designers that are unknown to me - plus what she considers to be a good price for a dress would pay for half my monthly mortgage payment - so I didn't find this chapter useful. The other chapters about shelter, entertainment, food, travel, weddings, etc., had many unusual and interesting tips and approaches, and useful websites. The illustrations in the book are beautiful and generous, and the writing is light, humorous and knowledgeable. This is a fun book with good ideas for those who choose the road less traveled.… (plus d'informations)
