Stopped reading when the author describes a woman as "a plain looking girl who one might expect to find working at a library or a bookstore."
Rude.

I started reading but when I ran into swearing the first ten minutes into reading, I removed it. It might have been a good book but swearing is uncalled for and there are too many good books to read that don't use foul language.

I absolutely loved this book. I prefer autobiographies and Jonna Ivin's story telling about a segment of her own life made me feel as if I were there with her. The mentally deficient boyfriend she loved so much and did everything to please reminded me of many of my friends, and myself. This book led me to read her other 2 books and now I am waiting for another one from her.

Sister Girl by Jonna Ivin

Well to start off I just have to say I loved this book!! I enjoyed reading about Tess, especially as a young girl and her quirky sister Grace. This book was such a quick easy read I just want more. I am now going to read Jonna's other books because I just want to know the rest of the story. I think this book has everything, humour, love, seriousness and it was just honest and down to earth. I would and will recommend it to all my reading friends!

I received a free ebook of Sister Girl through LibraryThing in exchange for an honest review.… (plus d'informations)
