Level 2: Snow White (Pearson English Kids Readers)… par Ms Kathryn Harper
I chose to write about Kathryn Harpers controversial book (Snow White and the 7 dwarfs). This book was deemed indecent simply because of the illustrations. Being that i'm new to reading, I didn't see anything wrong with the illustrations. I attempted to compare the images in Snow White to similar fairytale books that i've read but the illustrations seemed the same. There was no way to pinpoint the exact illustration that caused this book to be banned but i've seen harsher illustrations in other books.… (plus d'informations)
