- I have been a full-time author, photojournalist, lecturer, photographer and film-maker since 1970, part-time since 1963. I have had 18 books and many thousands of articles published in newspapers and magazines around the world.

I am particularly interested in travel, the outdoors, wildlife, native peoples, and the remote places of the planet.
