What a great short story. Tells you so much with so few words and leaves you with things to daydream about.

From the author notes: Excellent writer Bonnie Jo Stufflebeam (who has been featured several times on Daily Science Fiction) runs the "Art & Words show" at an art gallery in Texas. Each accepted story was paired with an artist who created art inspired by the story, and in turn each writer was given a piece of art to inspire a new story. "Infinite Tiny Lives, Infinitely Small" was written in response to the beautiful "Coral Bean" by Elizabeth R Wilson. The whole show was just a fabulous explosion of creativity and creation, with different types of art feeding off of each other, and it stands out as one of my favorite opportunities I've had as a writer.
