What an intriguing ending to the trilogy of this series. I have enjoyed the story. This installment was just as good as the first two. Excitement, adventure, romance, intrigue drama, and a few other things tossed in will grab you right from the start. I couldn't put it down. I had to know where Jude was and what was going to happen with our young lovers. So many questions would finally be answered. Great characters well done plot and just outstanding story. You have to try this story. Highly recommend.… (plus d'informations)

This series just keeps getting better. Lucy has her father, Jude, wanting to come in and meet her uncles. Marcus, her boyfriend, isn't happy about that (oh yeah, he and Jude don't like each other). Dylan, her friend and new demon (thanks to Jude), is suffering from new powers and has to do trainings along with Lucy. Oh yeah, Oh yeah, and nothing is ever as it seems. Marcus's parents appear on the scene. There are also signs of a love triangle that isn't what it seems. This action-packed book has thrills, mystery, suspense, and drama for the YA (and even us oldies that love the genre). The characters are funny, full of anfst, charming and a little creepy. The humans have quirks and the paranormal have unique charm. They all mesh together to make a really powerful book that brings out that sometimes you have to compromise. And in the end, keep your enemies closer. Highly Recommend.… (plus d'informations)

Lucy is a young teen just looking to have a normal life. Her mother was a junkie who died of an overdose. Lucy goes to Chicago to find that she has a whole new life. She's actually a powerful witch. Hence, she begins the adventure of a lifetime. New friends. enemies, mysteries, demon dad....and the secrets about. The first installment of a new series makes this a winner. I want to see what happens with her and Marcus. Interesting romance brewing there. Lots of paranormal.

Lucy Walker is a sixteen-year-old girl who wants a normal life. Just as she thinks she has a chance at normal she finds out that she is half-witch and half-demon. Now her life gets even more complicated as she works to keep her demon father from killing her boyfriend. She also has to try and keep the witches in her life from killing her father and protect her non-supernatural friends from getting hurt from either side. As if that isn’t enough to keep her busy she also needs to find the family raven that has her magical legacy. She is doing a balancing act between the good and evil in her life and is drawn to both. She just doesn’t know which side she will ultimately choose.

This is a fantastic young adult story that can be read by anyone. The plot and characters are well thought out and written well. The story comes alive for the reader in a paranormal story that is very different from most paranormal books. Once the reader starts this one they will find it very hard to put down as they will be pulled into the story with every word they read. This is done is the first person point of view but that just adds to the story rather than takes away. When character point of view changes the reader will not be lost in the least and it is written in such a way that it flows from one chapter to the next with nothing lost during the switch. If the next book proves as good as this one it is going to be one series that will be a must read for those who love paranormal romances. This is one to definitely take the time to read.
