The book was a little confusing to begin with, with two storylines running simultaneously. I was always wondering how the two were going to resolve. It wasn't until about the last 4 or 5 chapters when things started to come together. At this point the whole story gained momentum and I found myself making time for the book rather than just passing time with the book.

At times the story was a little bit rushed and it seemed like the author was just trying to get the action down on the page as quickly as possible, but when the writing was good, it was very good.

I'm not sure if this was a preview edition but I did come across a few typos, spelling errors and misplaced words, but I can't really complain as I didnt pay for the book.

This was a decent action/suspense/sci-fi romp and I'm happy to say that I don't regret reading it!

A thoroughly enjoyable zombie romp unlike any other piece of zombie lore I've come across.

This story weaves a wonderful tragicomic tale of apocalypse where we follow Amo as he comes to terms with all that has happened. I feel like I really can't say very much about this story without spoiling what I would deem to be the pinnacle of the tale.

As with previous Grist novels, it is well written and nicley paced. I read the whole thing over a two day period and everytime I put it down, I found myself itching to get back to it to see what happened.… (plus d'informations)

Free advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Book two in Grist's Zombie Ocean series, told from Anna's perspective. She's a 5 year old girl trying to deal with everything that has happened. It's an interesting take on the Zombie Genre; it's portraying things from the child's perspective.

Again, Grist's writing is charming and enjoyable, witty at times and poignant at others. Whilst it starts innocent, this story takes a darker path than the first book. The story is well paced and I found myself making time to put in a few more chapters.

I don't normally like to mention the storyline go into too much detail as it is difficult to dance around spoiler territory. Suffice it to say, this is definitely worth a read. Michael has created a strong series and I cant wait to find out what's coming next.

Another great angle helping to flesh out this over-arcing storyline. Very engaging and a great page turner. I didn't want to put it down!
