I’m going to be honest. This book is nothing as I had pictured, in fact it’s better. Sandra knows what so many of us have wondered: What is it like to die? But Sandra hasn’t just died once, she’s died every time she’s touched someone… or rather, she’s experienced their deaths. Sandra has seen the future, but the parts of it she’s seen, are the parts nobody wants to. She’s seen death, she’s felt death, but yet she isn’t dead… yet.

I read a lot of teen fantasy, but Sandra’s story was unlike anything else. Of course, like any teen story, there are the cliches. A boy (well two in this case) moves next door, offering potential love interests. The girl, who is shy and just tries to keep from being noticed, changes upon the arrival of the new boys. Yet, despite the cliches, this was unlike anything I could have expected.

The book is well written, the plot and characters well developed, and I would definitely read a sequel.
