The first book suggested to me by the new Reading Rainbow iTunes app. Young or old, I'll read it.
Summary- Story about a master swordsman and his apprentice who created the most perfect sword. Warriors find out about this sword and try to buy it for themselves. But they are not worthy, so the story is about them trying to find a warrior that is worthy to wield this perfect sword.
Critique of Genre- Historical Fiction, gives depth into the idea of how historically samurai swords were made and delivered.
Age- 4th- 8th grade.
