how do you pick revenge over dignity? when you have nothing left to lose you just push forward and hope that once He is died you will be able to sleep for the first time in years 6 to be exact.

still reading and still hooked. this almost feels like a biker's version of Romeo and Juliet and I am so hoping that this has a happy ending, or a version of an ending where these two dont end up dead

I go through phases with my books, and usually if I am having surgery I tend to binge on series and the first book with this one was free and I was and am completely hooked.

its books like this that make me fall so in love with books and Lili does not disappoint. if you fallow my insane reading patterns then you know I read the entire gypsy brothers series in about a week. I think I would be lying if I didn't say I actually Loved this first book more then that series. seeing what turned Him into the animal that would rape a young girl is shocking and an awesome read.

I read this book in two days. Its that good!
Definitely not what I thought this was going to be!
But in such a good way!
Yes this story it dark, twisted with some major trigger warnings...
But damn if this didn't suck me right in and had me up all night reading!
Lili has a way that had me totally hooked to these pages.
And honestly I don't know how to best describe this book. Just read it!
If you don't mind strong language, sex and some darkness!
It's a wild ride, gripping, messed up, controlling and it's sad as hell... But this was one I couldn't put down!

This author does not hold back at the ruthlessness of what life is like in the cartel. I felt for Ana. In the first book, I hated that she was in the position she was in. In this book, I could feel how she was happy out of a sense of being indebted to Dorian. This Dorian is not the same man that he was in Gypsy Brother's series. I felt for him. I could see where he was losing his morals and was turning into the devil that he portrayed in that series. The fact that I was liking him in this book, despite knowing how he is later, is a testament to the skill of this author.

Even though this is a prequel to the Gypsies, I'm still loving this because it adds a depth to that series that I didn't even know was missing.

Fantastic conclusion

Good Lord. This was an intense action packed ending. So many things became clearer now that I reflect on The Gypsy brothers series. It was heartbreaking to see the decline in Dorian and what made him the man he was in that series. He is proof that monsters aren't born but rather are made.

Now, I'm going to go back and read the Gypsy series so that everything happens in chronological order.

Prepare yourself because this ending stung A LOT.

Well hello dark and twisted. I started this series years ago but it got lost in my TBR while I was in college. This story takes vengeance to a whole new level. This heroine has big Balls and is fearless is all I can say.

Holy hell. This dang series is going to stay with me for a long time. This author could be likened to a drug pimp. Her words are like crack and I need every one of them like I need air. She's turned me into an addict.

I have no words for this novella. Getting the chance to see what was going on in the minds of Jase, Eliott, and Dorman. Good LAWD. Totally added an additional layer of awesomeness to this series.

This author just needs to take all my money.

All of it. Sweet lord, I don't think there is something she can't write that doesn't keep me on the edge of my seat. On to the next book.

I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion to this mind blowing series. The characters were everything. The things they endured were horrific and yet they perservered. Even the bad guys were written with such precision that you couldn't help but to hate them and also feel bad for them because they were a result of their environment.

From now on, this author just needs to take all my money. All of it. She is that good. I cannot wait to dive into the next series that has some of these characters in it.

What did I just read!?!?!

This book. This dang book. I thought I knew what it was going to be about. I was wrong. Then I thought I had it figured out. I was wrong. The twists and turns were everywhere and constant. I feel like I was hit with a frying pan to the head or went a full three rounds in a UFC fight.

This book is psychological warfare. It will miss you up. Its depraved but not in the way you'd think. I cannot even describe it. Go in blind but prepared that this Will leave your mouth agape when it is all over. I'm not sure that I have ever read a book with twists and turns like this and said so many What the effs in my life. Mind blown. Need to increase my therapy now.

Ok, so this was one of those books where it was pretty bad but I kept reading. This was a group of connected books where a young woman seeks revenge against a family of brothers and their father that belong to a vicious motorcycle club. So many horrible things are done to her through the course of these books that it is really quite unbelievable. I admit to skimming through some of it. I was just getting to maxed out on the violence etc. It is difficult to know how to rate this. I thought it sounded interesting and thought it would be more sophisticated as far as the suspense. It was just too nuts. I have to go with 2 stars and that is only because I did make it to the end after almost quitting several times. I couldn't have finished if not for skimming over some of it. This might be for some people, but I won't be reading more.

This was so good! The tone is dark and gritty. The heroine is intelligent and has a backbone. Her situation tenuous.

What happened to book two, Vessel? It was supposed to be released in October of 2016. It's cruel to keep everyone waiting... Especially on a cliffhanger!
