- Rolando Garcia is a scientist who has worked in academia, industry, and the government. He writes a blog entitled Ratio Scientiae about science, pseudoscience, and antiscience. His first science book is "Science Can Be Right Because It Can Be Wrong". However, he also writes fiction, and has published two books of short stories: The Sun Zebra and Spirit Women. The Sun Zebra par Rolando Garcia
Comprised of several independent short stories with life lessons when seen through the eyes of a child (Nell), this was an easy read quite different from something I would normally read. Enjoyable with a moral in each story and written in a simplistic style (but in a good way) akin to how a child views the world.

Each one individual both in content and style and putting an entirely new slant on chance meetings and artificial intelligence which will have the reader thinking twice when something similar crosses their path in real life which it quite easily could.

This is a short story collection that tells stories featuring female spirits (as in ghosts). Each story is a different take on female spirits: longing for love, destructive, deadly, etc. While the stories themselves are short (the entire work overall is approx. 135 pages), they tie together in this collection.
