2422 Understanding the First World War: Illusions and Realities, by Albert J. Fyfe (read 22 Nov 1991) This is a 1988 book by a retired Indiana U. professor who grew up in Canada. It is poorly edited, uses poor English, and is drawn from secondary sources largely. It covers the whole war, but is opinionated obviously and really, with all the detailed reading I've done on World War One, was not worth reading. I guess I just felt I should read something again on that war. But I really learned nothing new.… (plus d'informations)
