Have the Americans really attacked us that many times and failed? This is an interesting book for the history buff looking for a quick and dirty history of the battles fought on Canadian soil. It will definitely stir up pride in a Canadian heart but all it will do for an American is correct that fallacy about Vietnam being the first war they lost.

Realizing that the book’s size precluded it being an in-depth study, I would have liked to see more maps – MANY more maps. Even being familiar with the various locations written about, it would have been nice to see a visual representation.

Having said that, I have no problem recommending this book to the amateur history buff, or even the serious historian looking for a quick refresher.… (plus d'informations)
