A faithful adaptation of A. A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh that preserves a lot of Milne's original narration and character dialogue. It obviously has to trim a lot -- dropping three entire chapters of the book -- but hits the highlights of each little adventure.

It could use a little bit more editing for some continuity and proofreading errors.

I found it amusing that the author created this in 2000 for a pirated school production, then sat on actual publication until Pooh entered the public domain. It's also funny that the author recommends adding songs to make it a musical, but rather than writing songs himself, simply suggests seeking separate permission to perform a Kenny Loggins song and the various Disney tunes written by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman.

FOR REFERENCE:

Adapts the following chapters from Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne:
• Chapter 1. In Which We Are Introduced to Winnie-the-Pooh and Some Bees, and the Stories Begin
• Chapter 2. In Which Pooh Goes Visiting and Gets Into a Tight Place
• Chapter 3. In Which Pooh and Piglet Go Hunting and Nearly Catch a Woozle
• Chapter 4. In Which Eeyore Loses a Tail and Pooh Finds One
• Chapter 7. In Which Kanga and Baby Roo Come to the Forest, and Piglet Has a Bath
• Chapter 8. In Which Christopher Robin Leads an Expotition to the North Pole
• Chapter 10. In Which Christopher Robin Gives Pooh a Party, and We Say Good-bye

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
