Becca writes comics with her friend Tyler.Becca and her stepbrother Sam go over to Tyler’s house and they come across a strange book. When Sam picks up the book to look at it they find themselves in a strange land. Will Sam and Becca be able to get Romeo and Juliet to fall in love in time to get out of the book they have fallen into. They must fend off Tybalt, flying tomatoes, the narrator and keep track of Rufus the disappearing pup.
Fans of Captain Underpants, the Tree house Story books and comics in general will love this fast paced sometimes hilarious take on the classic story of Romeo and Juliet. The story and characters are light and superficial making it an easy read. The pictures will help even the struggling reader to put themselves in the story. Fisher Bas is a student at Wampanog Middle School. While being bullied by a group of boys that Fisher refers to as "The Vikings", he decides that cloning himself would be better than having to endure any more school. After a successful clone, he sends Two in his place but as can be expected, things rarely turn out as planned. When things spiral out of control, Fisher must think fast to keep from spoiling his secret.
