This unpublished version of a subsequently-published work included in the IDS (Intercontinental Dictionary Series, Planck Institute) is transliterated according to rules introduced in Sjoberg's Sumerian Dictionary, and divided into the semasiological sections used in the IDS.

While Sumerian is unrelated to other regional languages in the middle east, we find it was used as a "lingua franca" and like Latin, spoken and written by priests, long after it was no longer spoken by a native population. And of course, it is worthy of study today. Look, you find the word "eden"! Used by the Hebrew/Arabs to this day. And the Sumerian word for "bull" = Gudguam, "ox" = Gudgu ~ God!
