William E. Biederwolf (1867–1939)

Realizing one day that in twenty years of preaching, he had never given a sermon on the return of Christ, and recognizing how little he knew about the subject, William Edward Biederwolf went on to make himself an authority of the subject. He unearthed every scripture in the Old and New Testaments that mentioned the second coming of Christ. Then he explored the different interpretations that theologians have given to those passages. Finally, Biederwolf summarized his findings and wrote his own commentary.
