This book is great for 3rd-5th grade students. It is a very inspirational book about how a girl uses her wheelchair and also uses her body being pulling herself on the ground with her arms. This book is very educational and eye opening and its great for teaching kids about disabilities. I would have this in my future classroom

In this book, Carolyn shares her perspective on going to school and hanging out with friends. She has a wheelchair and there are some things that she can't do, but she focuses on the things she can do! This book could be a great read-out-loud in the classroom for third grade. I think that this book could be used in the classroom to show how to be a good friend to everyone, and that there is always a way to help people feel included.

A little girl named Carolyn is in a wheelchair and can do almost anything the other children can. She does things a little differently, but she doesn’t give up.
