I'm not sure why precisely, but I find myself wishing I'd known Grover was Jewish sooner. I guess because Grover's cool and I feel an affinity (yeah it's weird and potentially lightly pathological, but let's not dig into it here?) for Jewish culture? I dunno, but it seems like a good thing for whatever reason, whatever, goodbye.

This book is about Passover and how matzah came to be. I liked this book for two reasons. First, the patterned language helps engage the reader. For example, "Butter and jam with matzah crunch, or matzah kugel for my lunch." Instead of just listing the ways that you can eat matzah, the author gives it a poetic twist to catch the readers attention. Second, I liked the organization of the book. The book begins with the story of how matzah came to be. After providing the reader with this background knowledge, it moves onto how people use matzah today to celebrate Passover. The big idea of this book is to teach the reader about Passover, and more specifically matzah.… (plus d'informations)
