Bobby Baker

"They" say it's no longer possible to be a renaissance man; there is too much knowledge about too many subjects. Given the impossibility, Bobby Baker is about as close as one may get these days. He grew up on a reservation on the Canadian side of Lake Huron. He has been a surgeon, musician, a photographer, and a poet. "This Crazy Urge to Live" is perhaps stronger in photography than in poetry, but the poetry has its moments I am not fond of oversized, arty books of poetry. I prefer words on a page in a book I can use. That said, at $15, this book is worth your attention.… (plus d'informations)
