White Rabbit's color book, is considered a non-fiction narrative book. It talks about a bunny that explores primary colors through hopping from bucket to bucket of paint. He discovers colors like green and purple in the bucket exploration and children love to make the predictions of his new colors when he is hopping in them. It can be very interactive with the children's predictions and you can also pretend to be bunnies! I love this book. Preschoolers love it too!

Baker tells the tale of a mischievous rabbit who decides to dip into tubs of different colors of paint. White rabbit being white, dips himself into yellow, “sunshine yellow” and he thought is was “lovely”. He stays yellow and finds a tub of red and changes to brown. He goes though many colors and decides that the mixture of blue, yellow and brown are just the color for him, brown. This book shows how colors mix and make different colors and how being a different color is “just right” for him.

A cute counting book that combine rhyming with creative counting. Each number is made up of a little gray rabbit making something out of clay.

Take a spooky walk home with Mouse and Mommy on Halloween night. As scared Mouse's imagination runs wild, thinking the forest is full of magical monsters, Mommy reassures Mouse to "Look again. It's only..." This stop and predict format with alliterations makes this picture book a perfect DLTA (Direct Listening-Thinking Activity) on every page. There's also a hidden fairy illustrated on each page, which is fun to have children find throughout the read!

I recall enjoying this, but not as much as some others with a similar concept. Awfully cute though, of course!

This book follows the adventures of a white rabbit as he discovers what happens when colors mix. I like this book because it has bright images that help children to see and understand the difference between primary and secondary colors. This book was a big book and had only a few words on each page, however the word were unnecessary because the book would have made just as much sense without the words. It was a good book to understand how mixing different colors make other new colors. The illustrations were simple and not distracting. Everything in the book was very straight forward.

White Rabbit’s Color Book by Alan Baker is a great book about the primary colors and what colors mix to make secondary colors. Although it doesn’t talk about “primary” and “secondary” colors specifically, it shows a white rabbit getting into a red bucket of paint, then into a yellow bucket to create the color orange. And this continues until all the colors have been mixed with each other. I thought this was a very cute book. It teaches the colors in a different way that is fun and enjoyable to read. It has exclamations and question marks to introduce new punctuation and is a simple read for young children.

This book is a cute book about how to fix mistakes we ahve made and sometime we just make them worse as Benjamin the mouse found out. This is a good book for kindergarteners and maybe first graders who are learning to read. The illustrations go along well with the text and is fun to look at.
Genre: Fantasy
Media: Colored Pencil
1: I would use this in my classroom when having discussion on how we clean up messes.
2: I would use this in my classroom so that students can learn to read on their own.

Summary: It tells us a story of a mouse called Benjamin. He thought it would be very easy to remove a dirty spot in a white paper. But it turned out to be very difficult. Finally
he tear the paper still leaving the spot go his paws there.
Review: I highly recommend this book. It is not a long book. Although the setting in this book is very simple, just a mouse and a paper. But author used simple words and pictures to show a good story. And author gave us enough space to think about this story. Maybe it is a good pictures for teenagers not for little kids.½

This is a great story about a fluffy little white bunny that finds out the hard way what happens when you mix colors. This is a easy read and the children of course find it so funny seeing the bunny laying in different colors. Then amazed that if you mix 2 colors you make a new color. Age appropriate 3 years-2nd grade.

The illustrations in this book are enchanting. But what sets this book apart from other ABC books is that each letter page is connected to the next, creating an entire story. ABC books usually just have a letter and a picture that only has to do with that letter, so there's no story and is uninteresting to children long-term. This book has a sweet story about painting that would be fun to read for years. This would be a perfect addition to a kindergarten classroom.

As usual, this Little Rabbit Book has the most adorable illustrations. However, I particularly like this one because it's written for parents of preschool children and has instructions to the parent about how to use the book to develop number sense through games. At the end of the book, there's a list of more games to play. This would be an excellent book to recommend at events like Kindergarten Round Up.

I have fallen in love with the Little Rabbit Books! This book about colors is a lot of fun because the rabbit discovers mixing colors by getting into them, so it'd delightfully messy which kids would love! It would be a great introduction to a unit on colors where kids got to mix fingerpaints together.

The adorable white rabbit in this book learns about mixing primary colors in this sweet story. He also has an adorable bunny-sized shower! Simple colors and simple text make this a great book for toddlers learning their colors.

The story is about one gray rabbit who is presented in front of some clay. He then uses his imagination to mold a variety of different animals and shapes. The story is also using a counting theme. For example, "two chattering, clattering toucans or five freckled, speckled frogs!" The illustration of the book shows great detail especially of the gray rabbit, his fur looks real enough to pet. This book would be perfect for younger students from preschool to kindergarten, the time that they are to be learning how to count up to ten.
