Stunning and horrific conclusion

From the beginning of this series i felt like I was witnessing the worst train wreck and yet I could not look away. The representation and horrors felt so real. Yet, I had to keep reading because there had to be a positive spin on this. I had to know that all of these characters found peace.

This book combined everything into one and have the series the closure it needed. Humans can be vile and this book showed it. However, it also showed that humans are resilient and will fight no matter the odds.

Omg

Oh my god. This book. I don't even have the words for it. Do be aware of and read the warnings. They are there for a reason. And they are true.

I love seeing Everleigh's plans, and it's hard to figure out what she really feels and what she doesn't. Just amazing.

This really is dark. The manuvering and plans within plans are just dazzling. Worth the read.

So twisted

These books are so dark and so twisted and yet so good. They just keep getting better. I can't wait for the next one.

A.A. Dark is trying to kill us, that's the only thing that I can think about this book. I always look forward with baited breath for the next Whitlock book, I devour them, and then I have to wait for the next one because A.A. Dark leaves us hanging for the next book.

This one was no different. OMG, I can't even believe what's going on with this book. I am totally sucked in to all the different plots and plans, and I'm trying to figure out what everyone is doing. As to what's going on now, all I can say is that Everleigh is going to blow her top and things are going to be explosive.

I can't wait for the next one. I kind of wish I had a time machine so that I could wake up tomorrow with the next one written and published so that I can read it immediately.

Crazy!

This is the type of book that you may be embarrassed to love. Such an insane tale of a slave who is desired by two men who will do anything to have her, and I mean anything. On to the next book!

4.5

Holy hell. I love dark but didn't even know this kind of dark existed. Pitch black and then some. I really need to seek therapy as to why I am drawn to this stuff.

If you like dark then ask yourself, how dark before you read this.

Holy darkness batman

This series is beyond twisted and takes darkness past anything. If there is a shade darker than pitch black this it. I'm not sure I liked the conclusion. I'm hoping there is more.

5 holy black stats

This was truly pitch black. Is there darker than pitch black because if there isn't there should be. This is like the movie hostel but worse. Even as dark as this is the story is insane. The mind games, the horror, and the characters. Everything goes together. The author has blown my mind. I need the conclusion like I need air now.

Becoming a mother and a wife should have made all of Marley’s dreams come true but she still felt restless and nervous all the time. Her paranoia was growing and while having Zachary, her husband, the pack alpha around helped, she couldn’t resist the urges she still had to be with Cole. After he left to find his own mate, those feelings kept growing to a point where getting him back with her was one of the only things she knew she truly wanted for herself, her family and her pack.

Book 2 ….. What Marley truly is was a great twist to the story I just wish that by the time we got to it that I liked Marley better. I found her selfishness in all things to be somewhat of a turn off, even Coles desires border on selfishness leaving Zachary in a position to deal with them in his understanding and giving way. In the previous book I wanted more of Cole, but I am not sure this scenario did Marley justice.

Vivid dreams of a lover that Marley Hart only wished was real. Nights of dream like passion was all Zachary Zevgolis could give her until he found her. Now, explaining who and what he is turned out to be more difficult than he expected. Even if she excepted it all, could he keep her safe form his rivals.

This is a character driven story with really good interactions. The anger that Marley shows over being taken from her life, the guilt that Zachary has because of her distress, and the lust of all those involved is at times realistic and at other times is like an erotic fantasy. The storyline (werewolf alpha searching for his mate) was also good, but I would have liked more - of everything, from history of the pack to more about Cole.
