DianaNL 2024

Jan 1, 7:30 am

My name is Diana and I live in The Netherlands with my husband, two sons, a dog and two cats. Reading is an absolute necessity in my life for as long as I can remember.

For the past 4,5 years, life has been difficult and this shows in completing less books and becoming even more introvert. But here it is, a new year with fresh possibilities.

Please feel welcome!

So pleased that a thread miraculously materialized, Diana.

You will have my company throughout the year for certain.

By the way did you see that the cyclist Rohan Dennis was arrested for killing his wife?

I did see the news about Rohan Dennis, Paul, it's shocking. Yesterday was his last day as a prof with Jumbo Visma, but that's no reason to kill your wife, is it?

>3 DianaNL: Apparently something to do with reckless driving. Don't know whether it was intentional or not to be honest. It is terrible whatever.

The latest news seems to say that it was intentional. It is horrible.

Hello Diana. Happy Year to you, glad to see you here with a thread.

I do hope that this year is better than the last 4-5 for you. I can understand your being even more of an introvert if you have been feeling bad about things in your life. Therefore, I hope you can become less introverted this year by reason of good things happening and feelings of strength and well-being.

Family, doggos, and kitties are helpful, too. *smile*
