I actually cross-stitched this several years ago (the 70s!!). It is a big ass fold-out pattern, and I had to buy another copy to be able to read where some of the folds got worn out from me having to fold it so often. (this was the days before big copy machines at Office Max, that's how long ago). It took months, but it is stunning when it is done.

I made this design and it turned out beautifully (if I don't say so myself, lol)

Not really a sampler in that it only uses cross-stitch. The design it laid out top-to-bottom hence the name. I picked this up because I needed a pattern for a wren. If you like birds and cross-stitch, you should enjoy this one.
