More than a receipt book, this is a small-niche history book. Fascinating, but difficult for the modern cook to follow as it often says things like "a small spoonful" when it's talking about critical ingredients. Critical, as in, too much might make your oven explode or something.

Worth the cover price just for the instructions on packing a corpse for travel.
