I enjoy Debbie Mason romance books, I just can't help it! They are sweet, have drama and comedy, and fulfill all the wants I have for a great, romantic escape.

This book is set in the town of Christmas, Colorado (you know, like most of this series). We follow Skylar Davis, a freelance writer/blogger who comes from a powerful and rich family (but, you know, her part of the fortune is gone) and Ethan O'Connor, a political figure who is hot, has a family with strong opinions and seems like a nice guy. A one night stand between two buddies turns out to be quite the date because Skylar finds out months down the road she is pregnant. Having two opposing views politically doesn't help all that much for Ethan's campaign.

This is a cozy romance that is an easy read. It's a nice book to curl up and just sink into. It's not overly complicated, it is romantic and doesn't make you want to rip your heart out. It's a lovely read! Cute books with happily, ever afters make me really happy.

It's also easy to pick up as a stand alone if you don't want to grab the other books. You don't need to know anything about the other characters to get this story, it'll just make you feel all warm and fuzzy when you read about characters you recognize.

Three out of five stars!

Barefoot Beach by Debbie Mason is a lovely romance novel filled with suspense, a sexy firefighter and one headstrong female lead.

I honestly wish I had read the full series before I got to this book. Even though it works as a stand alone, I felt like I wanted to know more of the background story. For one, there's a ghost in this story that made me really want to know how the supernatural made it into this book. There's also so many other romances that are hinted at that I would have love to see come together. Either way, the book is still good but I highly suggest reading the full series to make it to this book.

Theia and Marco are the two leads - a headstrong pilot who finds out more about herself in this journey and a sexy firefighter who does not want to have his family play matchmaker for him. Well, turns out that whole matchmaking idea is thrown out of the window when he meets Theia. We learn a fair bit about Marco's ex in this story too, which had me wondering if there was a previous book about her.

The duo definitely have a sexy, slow burn romance story. When we do get to the romance, it's pretty darn hot and suggestive. It honestly felt like the best of both worlds for me - I like slow burn where their relationship builds over time but I also love the sexy and steamy romances. Also, they weren't the "typical" couple (let's be honest though, this type of couple is becoming more common...) where he doesn't want a relationship and she is headstrong, secure with her life and doesn't need no man. Well, until they meet each other and spend a lot of time with each other. But who doesn't want a sexy firefighter/paramedic with rock hard abs, amazing cooking skills and a sweet heart?

There's also this fun "side story" with Theia being related to one of the major families of this series. I'm sure there's a lot more to this story line throughout the series, especially with the whole ghost thing, but I found it interesting. It's something I would have loved to know the back story for. The book does give you enough information to get along though.

Overall, this book is full of fun banter and witty comments. I really enjoyed this novel and hope to read more in this series. Debbie knows how to make an entertaining romance book that moves fast enough to keep you interested but slow (burn) enough to leave you grasping onto the novel.

Four out of five stars!

Title: Happy Ever After in Christmas
Author: Debbie Mason
Date Read: July 27th-September 10th, 2016
Date Reviewed: September 11th, 2016
Spoilers Ahead?: Yes!

Introduction: I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I love a good romance, and Debbie Mason did not let me down! It took me a while to really get into this book since I haven't read the rest of the series, but once I was in I was hooked and couldn't get out!

Quick Summary: Jill Flaherty is almost thirty, and won't admit to herself that she is hopelessly in love with her brother's best friend Sawyer Anderson. Deputy Jill has to hop through some hoops to finally admit her feelings for the bar tender. Jill will have to be quick, because other women's eyes are looking to woo Sawyer...

Evaluations: For a romance novel, this book was incredible! There's no cheesy love triangles, there's nothing that seems out of place or unrealistic. The book focuses on friendships, family, and love. It is definitely worthy of high marks, and I want to read the rest of the books.
Is it cheesy and a total Nora Roberts sort of romance? Yup. Did it say it was anything but that? Nope. The book is exactly what you expect from it, and that's great! Debbie Mason knows how to make a good, realistic romance with a bit of drama, tensions and tiny twists!

Plot: The plot is pretty straight forward - Deputy Jill has to do her job, and admit her feelings for bar tender Sawyer. They find it hard to admit their feelings for each other, but over time they grow and grow. There are some minor hiccups at first, and then a few major ones. These major hiccups make the two grow as a couple, and eventually we get the happily ever after that these characters deserve! Each aspect of the plot are realistic, you can see them happening in real life: issues at a nursing home, custody issues, pregnancy issues, etc. Nothing seems out of place!

Characters: Jill is a strong character who sometimes has her issues as a character, but for a romance novel she fits the trope. She is headstrong and does not let people tell her what to do, but she keeps putting the possible relationship off so many times it's pathetic. In real life, a guy would probably have given up on her by the time her and Sawyer actually get together. But, this is a romance novel and every woman wants a man falling all over her. This might be unrealistic, but it makes for a good book!
Sawyer also seems to not be your typical, everyday guy. He falls for Jill hard, he chases after her, and he even seems to have a bit to close of a relationship with Brandi. I can't place his personality on any of the guys I know, so he isn't totally realistic. But, again, this is a romance novel and he fits the role perfectly.

Themes/Creativity: Family and friendship is a strong theme in this book and you can tell. Family sticks together and friends help each other. Friendship and family always comes first! I like this theme, seeming as there are rarely themes in romance novels. But, this theme is very easy to see!! A on theming in a romance novel Debbie! Great job!

Uniqueness: It's not totally unique for a romance novel. There's your typical love story, headstrong female, man chasing after her, possible love triangle, big issue that sets the couple apart, they get back together, happily ever after. The only uniqueness I can point out is the theming. Other than that, typical romance!

Strengths: Themes. Themes. Themes. Again themes. Have I mentioned the themes enough?
Weaknesses: It's your typical romance. While it's written beautifully, it can easily be compared to other romances.

Score: 5 out of 5. While it is a common romance novel, it was well written and wow-ed me! I was hooked and couldn't put it down, and many romance novels get put down in my household. I love Debbie Mason and I'll be reading the rest of her books as soon as I can get my hands on them!

Recommendations: I would love Debbie Mason to try to write an out of the box romance novel. Her writing is fantastic and clearly she is the expert on the common romance, but I would love to see her try something different!!

I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.

Madison has been dubbed “The Grinch” after canceling a deal that would have turned the small town of Christmas into a tourist destination. The townsfolk are not happy, thinking the deal would have saved their economy. When Madison tries to show them that the plan would fail but not before it destroyed the hometown feel of their community, they turn on her. After a staged “accident,” Maddison finds herself caring for the “injured” woman, and slowly but surely becoming engrossed with the people and the politics of the town. It’s an interesting story with just the perfect amount of romance - plenty of love but behind closed bedroom doors. There is an exciting conclusion that was quite surprising. This well-written story is peopled with well-developed and likable characters. It’s a lovely tale, a perfect Christmas romance.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

She'd been bailing her baby brother out of trouble for years.

Third in the series, I had no problem jumping in with this small town romance even though I haven't read the others. We start off with a very pregnant Sadie Gray working in her grandmother's I Believe in Unicorns store and trying to suss out if her brother on the run from the law is squeezing her grandmother for money. Her brother got mixed up transporting drugs with the local gang and now is wanted by them and the police. She's got that to deal with while she's pregnant and deciding that it is finally time to kick her baby's father to the curb.
The pov then jumps to FBI agent Chase Roberts, who happens to be watching the store and catches Sadie in an embarrassing moment but receives a phone call before they can meet. Their meet-cute then ends up with Sadie getting into a minor car accident and Chase, with his new undercover partner Nate Black, delivering Sadie's baby because she goes into labor on the side of the road.

And for the first time in his career, he thought he might be in over his head.

This started with a lot of different elements thrown at the reader, I had a hard time keeping up with everything. The undercover case Chase is working with Nate Black, who he isn't sure he can fully trust, as they try to find Sadie's brother and see if he really was a criminal informant for Nate's buddy that was killed and if the local sheriff's department is dirty and working to ship drugs with the gang is the main plot but there were so many intangibles added that it started to feel kitchen sink and not cobbled together quite right. Around the 20% mark, I started to feel like I was settling into the story more. Sadie's grandmother's second sight, Sadie's friend Abby and her YouTube channel ideas, and Sadie's baby preferring Chase all the time, were seemingly small additives but they were all thrown in, in such a way, that it disrupted the flow and took away from the romance.

“Thank you.” he said, then held her gaze. “I meant what I said, Sadie. I care about Michaela, and I care about you.”

The romance was fairly mild, with the baby almost always between them, Sadie and Chase felt like an already married couple and with more of a dulled spark. This was also a kisses only, the sex scene is completely off screen. Both characters were raised by their grandparents and I thought that was sweet commonality but because Sadie and Chase had to share the focus in so many directions, I felt we never got to see them sit and deepen together. I had that problem with a lot of the characters, they went beyond cardboard individually but their relationships with each other were lacking and I missed more emotion. About 40% Sadie learns that Chase is undercover and a little bit of fake relationship trope happens as he pretends to be her boyfriend so he can stay with her at her house. I thought we would get more spark but these two just settled into the comfortable couple even more, with Sadie getting naps in and Chase doing the laundry.

If you've read the other books in the series, you'll enjoy the appearances of past and future couples as they have some important roles in this. I felt the execution wasn't quite right on this as the beginning had me feeling scattered and pulled in a lot of different ways, Chase and Nate never felt like they were searching intensely enough for Sadie's brother, and Sadie's baby got in the middle a lot. The story ends fairly abruptly but with the bonus story edition, you get a novella of Sadie and Chase's wedding, which helps give an epilogue feel. This would be a comfortable read for some, though, if you like a little detective work and wanting to visit the small town of Highland Falls again.

Mallory is not sure what she has signed up for. She just got custody of her two step-son, she agreed to take on a new job, and that means moving back home to her childhood town. Where she does not have a happy childhood past, and the step-sons are beyond annoyed that they are moving from the big city, and that they were taken out of their England boarding school. And they hate her, everything is her fault- so it appears.

Gabe, newer Chief of Police of Highland Falls usually has a pretty low key job, but when Mallory and her good for nothing step-sons show up, action happens and it reminds him of what he misses when he was an NYC homicide detective, but a family had other plans and so here he is.

The two of them, having met the summer before and under not well circumstances, is once again brought together. This time it is not Mallory causing the trouble, but some in town are not happy to see she is back, or to hear she is heading up the senior project. How can she think she can possible handle that position, being she hasn’t lived in this town for years and she is from a big city. Things are handled different in the small towns.

As Mallory and the step-sons try to integrate into Highland Falls, it seems it is one thing after another and it either involves Mallory or Gabe and some how the other also gets tangled in the situation. Can the two of them, being looked at as both outsiders pull of proving they belong here and are meant to do nothing but help the quaint little town out, or will they be driven out as others continue to meddle in things.

Thank you at Forever Publishing for the free book. It was an easy, fast paced read, with a bit of suspense sprinkled through out, and the meaning of Christmas through out the theme.

4/5 stars!

The book features a heroine in need of a new start and a grumpy hero who needs to get out of his shell. Surrounded by a wonderful group of secondary characters and two bewitching canine companions, the story gives a good, small-town vibe with moderate angst. Overall, it was a nice story to read, even though there were a couple of places that needs better transitions in my eyes.

Snowbound at Christmas is a sweet, sassy and suspenseful romance by Debbie Mason. The sixth installment in the always fun Christmas, Colorado series is a laugh out loud novel that old and new fans are sure to enjoy.

Cat O'Connor is an ex-Denver police woman now working for her spoiled twin sister Chloe, a popular soap opera actress. Tired of pandering to Chloe's whims, Cat is ready to quit and return to Colorado when she discovers someone is trying to kill her sister. Unbeknownst to Cat (or anyone else on the set), the show's newest guest star, Grayson Alexander, is working undercover to investigate the threats on Chloe's life. Despite the sparks that immediately fly between them, there is little trust between Grayson and Cat since they both suspect the other of being behind the threats on Chloe's life.

Cat is a strong heroine who pretty much deserves sainthood for putting up with Chloe's over the top behavior. Cat has had a rough time ever since her ex-boyfriend's Ponzi scheme was uncovered and everyone thinks (but cannot) prove she knew what he was doing. Working for her sister has worn very thin since Chloe is demanding and spoiled but when Cat discovers someone is trying to kill her, Cat knows she has stay by her side to protect her from harm and uncover the identity of the assailant.

Grayson is about to embark on a much needed vacation when he is unexpectedly saddled with his grandmother Estelle. When he tries to find another relative to take her off his hands, his cousin calls in a favor which means Grayson is not only going undercover but he also must bring his grandmother with him. The number one suspect on his list is Cat and he is dismayed by his attraction to her. He is equally disconcerted when Chloe sets her sights on him and his grandmother decides to try her hand at a little matchmaking.

The supporting cast of characters are well drawn and range from delightfully quirky to downright annoying. Cat's close friend Ty is a wonderful breath of fresh air and his antics are quite funny. Estelle is also a pretty fun character although her matchmaking attempts are a bit misguided. Chloe is nearly impossible to like and it is extremely frustrating watching her manipulate Cat for much of the story.

For a good part of the novel, the storyline focuses on the ensuing investigation. Grayson and Cat continually butt heads as they pursue various leads and their attraction for one another only complicates things between them. Neither of them trust their instincts at this point since Cat cannot believe she missed what her ex-boyfriend was up to and Grayson completely misjudged someone on his last case. It is not until they, along with the cast and crew of Chloe's soap opera, relocate to Cat's hometown in Colorado, that their relationship becomes less adversarial. As Cat and Grayson begin working together on the investigation, their attraction deepens but just as they are considering telling one another the truth about their respective roles in the investigation, Chloe's latest shenanigans cause problems for them.

With an intriguing storyline, a cast of eclectic characters and a sweet love story, Snowbound at Christmas is a captivating novel that is fast paced and engaging. This latest installment in Debbie Mason's heartwarming Colorado, Christmas series is an absolutely delightful read that I highly recommend to readers of contemporary romances.

Sandpiper Shore by Debbie Mason is a light-hearted contemporary romance. This latest release is the sixth installment in the Harmony Harbor series and should be read in order since there are many guest appearances by characters from previous books.

Jenna Bell is a matchmaker with an amazing track record so she is blindsided when her feckless fiancé Lorenzo Romano abruptly dumps her a week before their wedding. Compounding her humiliation is the discovery Lorenzo is romantically involved with her greedy stepmother. Even more embarrassing is the public brawl that ensues after Secret Service Agent Logan Gallagher saves her from getting hit by a car. With her stepsisters, Arianna and Serena, furious at the spectacle and the monetary loss from the cancelled nuptials, Jenna drowns her sorrows at a local bar. After Logan once again rescues her, they end up in a compromising position on the beach. Recovering from her broken heart at breakneck speed, Jenna is quite smitten with Logan but he swears he is not the marrying type. Will this wistful matchmaker who dreams of a happily ever after find the prince who will make her dreams come true?

Jenna's heart is in the right place as she tries to salvage her stressed relationship with Serena and Arianna. Unfortunately, her efforts to placate them give the impression she is a pushover who will do anything to please them. Jenna quickly recovers from her broken engagement and immediately jumps into a long distance flirtation with Logan.

Logan is quite charming and loves his zany family but he has no desire to settle down. His chivalrous rescue lands him in a heap of trouble due to the machinations of a local cop who has it in for his family. Logan is intrigued by Jenna but when duty calls, he does not hesitate to leave. Before he leaves for his assignment, Logan secures a position for Jenna that will hopefully salvage her tarnished reputation.

At this point, the storyline becomes a tangled mess of several story arcs and a dizzying array of characters. Jenna's broken engagement becomes a complicated storyline featuring the dastardly deeds of Lorenzo and her stepmother's attempt to swindle Jenna, Arianna and Serena out of their inheritance. The Gallagher family has plenty of trouble since Logan's mother is facing a health crisis and she has recently left his father. The ghost of Colleen Gallagher is still trying to right the wrongs she made during her long and illustrious life. Logan and the princess he is guarding unexpectedly turn up in Harmony Harbor which puts Jenna in an uncomfortable situation that she cannot wriggle out of. The smarmy cop with a grudge continues to bedevil everyone who crosses his path.

Sandpiper Shore is a madcap adventure featuring an insta-love romance and numerous storylines. Jenna and Logan are likable characters but their relationship is sorely underdeveloped due to the convoluted plot. Longtime fans of Debbie Mason's Harmony Harbor series will enjoy this latest outing but newcomers will most feel lost amongst the various characters and their complicated connections to one another.

Sugarplum Way by Debbie Mason is an endearing holiday themed romance.

Julia Landon is upbeat, positive and always has a smile on her face. With the holidays fast approaching, she is stretched to her limits as she frantically attempts to get her latest novel turned in on time. Juggling many duties, she nonetheless never tells anyone no when they for help. For rather mysterious reasons, Julia is determined to ensure everyone in the Gallagher family is blissfully happy and she has her hands full trying to ensure her last matchmaking attempt succeeds. She is also doing everything she can to make sure her secret crush Aidan Gallagher has everything he needs to win custody of his daughter Ella Rose. Unfortunately her attempts to secure his future with the Harmony Harbor Police Department run into numerous problems with the police chief, but Julia is undeterred as she continues her attempts to "fix" things for Aidan.

Aidan is extremely suspicious of Julia which has resulted in quite a few inauspicious run-ins between them. Despite knowing she is keeping secrets, he is also very attracted to the quirky, perky darling of Harmony Harbor. But with his divorce behind him, Aidan is concentrating on improving his relationship with Ella Rose while also trying to gain custody of her. Although he is frustrated by Julia's interference in nearly every aspect of his life, he is also charmed by her.

Despite feeling a little lost due to not reading the previous novels in the Harmony Harbor series, Sugarplum Way is an enchanting holiday love story. Julia is a likable character despite being just a tad too perfect. Aidan is realistically depicted and it is wonderful watching his scenes with his daughter. The romance between Aidan and Julia is slow moving and peppered with witty banter and laugh out loud humor. Although the storyline is rather busy due to several story arcs, Debbie Mason beautifully weaves the various threads into a cohesive and entertaining novel. Readers of the previous books will enjoy this latest addition to the series whereas newcomers will most likely feel confused by the first few chapters. All in all, a charming love story with a few mystical (and magical) elements.

Christmas in July by Debbie Mason is a beautiful love story that is poignant, romantic and heartwarming. In this second installment of the Christmas, Colorado series, Grace and Jack Flaherty's reunion encounters numerous complications as they try to pick up the pieces of their marriage. Amnesia, guilt, secrets and interference from well-meaning friends and family are just a few of the issues facing them when Jack safely returns home seventeen months after he was declared MIA in Afghanistan.

By the time Jack returns home, Grace is firmly rooted in his hometown of Christmas. While she is overjoyed at his safe return, their reunion is overshadowed by their last parting and at first, Jack's amnesia is a blessing in disguise. When he does recover his memory, they have barely begun to work on rebuilding their troubled marriage when a secret Jack has been keeping is revealed in a very public setting. At the same time, a vengeful revelation hurts Grace's reputation and puts her marriage on even shakier ground and she is faced with trying to save not only her relationship with Jack, but her bakery business. From this point on, they overcome one crisis only to have another challenge takes its place.

By all appearances, Jack and Grace are a mismatched couple. Jack is a thrill seeking, adrenaline junkie while Grace is a bit uptight with a few control issues. But they perfectly complement one another and each brings out the other's hidden qualities. Underneath Grace's prim, proper exterior, she is wildly passionate and she has an incredible sense of humor. Jack is a typical Alpha male but with Grace and little Jack, he is pretty much nothing but a softie with an incredibly tender and loving heart.

In addition to the external conflict they are struggling to overcome, Jack and Grace are also dealing with their emotional baggage from their individual pasts. Jack's wild child reputation comes back to haunt him and he resents living under the small community's watchful eye. Grace carries a heavy burden that has its roots in her childhood and she is further stressed by Jack's inability to figure out what he is going to do about his military career.

Despite the many crises that Jack and Grace must endure on their way to happily ever after, Christmas in July is a delightfully angst free novel. The characters are vibrantly developed and the problems they must overcome are believable and true to life. The small town of Christmas is realistically depicted with a wonderful spectrum of caring and somewhat colorful townspeople. This incredibly heartfelt and deeply moving romance is an outstanding addition to Debbie Mason's Christmas, Colorado series that old and new fans do not want to miss.

Michael Gallagher wants to get drunk. His wedding is off and his ex won’t given him his dog. Yes, getting drunk is a very good idea. However, when Michael spots Shay Angel, after eight years, he is truly knocked for a loop. As a Assistant DA, and with Shay’s having been in trouble with the law, she is all wrong for him.

Shay suddenly goes missing, and he wants to help her, plus he wouldn’t mind seeing whether or not their attraction is still there. Shay, however, has an agenda, and despite still being drawn to Michael, truly wishes he would stay away.

Christmas with an Angel is a quick novella that has sweet romance and a bit of mystery. I definitely look forward to seeing more of this couple in the fifth book of the series, Driftwood Cove. Other books in the series are, Mistletoe Cottage, Starlight Bridge, Primrose Lane, Sugarplum Way, Sandpiper Shore and The Corner of Holly and Ivy.

This novella was a bonus story in The Trouble with Christmas, also by Debbie Mason.

Many thanks to Forever for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Sophie DiRossi has a chance to create a new life for her and her daughter, but not without jumping over major hurdles. For starters, they were left homeless due to a fire. Also, she has kept the secret of her daughter’s paternity. Sophie‘s hands are full. She has a now job at an enchanting hotel that needs more than a bit of work and she must regain her relationship with Mia, who has completely stopped talking. What’s more is that the only place where Sophie can go is her hometown, Harmony Harbor, and there are even further problems, including the fact that just about everyone there has something to hide. Thank the recently deceased town matriarch, Colleen Gallagher, for that.

Liam Gallagher is a firefighter in Harmony Harbor, and he is really perplexed as to how he is going to manage being around Sophie and the adorable Mia. For years, Liam has had very strong feelings for Sophie, and now he has to be around her. As kids, Liam was a few years older from Sophie, so he never got to tell her how he felt. Even now, Sophia still seems off-limits, and Liam isn’t sure why. What he doesn’t know is that Sophie is in love with him.

What a touching story of second chances! However, there are conflicts that must be resolved. As the story progresses, we meet a lot of wonderful characters that I definitely look forward to meeting again in future stories in this series. There are a lot more Gallagher’s to meet! This book is filled with love, drama, humor and even a bit of magic. Mia was my absolute favorite character. Her transformation was a true delight. This is a heartwarming story that has me quite interested in the remaining books of the series.

Mistletoe Cottage is the first book in the series, followed by Christmas with an Angel, Starlight Bridge, Primrose Lane, Sugarplum Way, Driftwood Cove and Sandpiper Shore, all of which I was able to download from my library. The latest book is The Corner of Holly and Ivy, which I am pleased to have gotten from the publisher.

My Rating: 4.5 Stars

No. No. No. Madison Lane, a resort developer, must now fight to protect her reputation - and her job - when she ends up on the front page of The New York Times. Folks in the small town of Oklahoma, Nebraska want their town decorated and turned into something really special. Madison is part of the team that has denied a resort being built for the town. Bah humbug!

Madison has very good reason, backed by a lot of research, that shows building this resort would not be financially feasible. She travels from New York to attend a town meeting. Her visit was supposed to be brief, but the townspeople have other ideas. Now Madison’s brief visit has just been extended.

The rather underhanded behavior of one person in particular is slowly beginning to reap positive results. For one thing, Madison gets plenty of time to ogle the town’s sheriff. As Madison is now staying with the sheriff’s aunt, through rather curious and humorous circumstances, she begins to see the man behind the uniform.

Sheriff Gage McBride is struggling to keep the peace in his town, be a good father and look after his Aunt Nell. What is it about the apparently uptight executive that affects Gage? He s a very busy man. Hopefully she will leave his town before his heart becomes involved. By the way, Nell is a hoot. She is a really fun character and I enjoyed visiting with her through the pages of this book. There were a few other busybodies in town and other characters that I hope to get to know more about in future books in this series.

The Trouble With Christmas is a delightful book by Debbie Mason. It is an enjoyable romance peppered with humor. One thing I loved about this book is that it is a very sweet romance without being explicit. That said, the chemistry between Madison and Gage was palpable. Madison’s transition to a woman developing a love for Christmas was quite enjoyable. The author even had the opportunity to deal with a couple of serious issues in this story. I had the pleasure of reading this wonderful and engaging book from cover-to-cover in one sitting.

This book is a re-release, with the original publication date in 2013. There are seven other stories in the Christmas, Colorado series.

Many thanks to Forever for this ARC to review. This is my honest opinion.

I was pleasantly surprised by my trip to Harmony Harbor. Here I was expecting a holiday themed Contemporary Romance with heart, and what I got was that but also a little mystery, a little intrigue, and even a ghostly presence intent on keeping the secrets she took to her grave (sorta). I adored our leading lady, rooted for our leading man, and enjoyed meeting the myriad of characters that this small town seems to draw. From the tall to small, the uniformed to the seemingly forgotten, the higher ups and the furry friends, there was always someone to know, to love or loathe, or get into it with for whatever reason with every turn of the page. The holiday infusion made it the perfect book to open the coming reading season and the does of magic will warm your heart.

Barefoot Beach is full of love, surprises, drama & family. The characters are well written & mesh together perfectly. Small town living was well documented from the gossipy women’s club to the intrusive matchmakers. This is an entertaining clean romance that brings family love, history & drama into the forefront. It grabs your attention from the first page & keeps you involved until the end.

Marco wants to find his significant other but something holds him back. Until he meets his match. Theia is determined to stay single, until she meets Marco. The attraction between them is apparent from the beginning. With the betrayal, surprises & danger, along with all the family drama, Marco & Theia have to also overcome their past fears to find a way to trust each other & fight for their future. I loved Caine & hope his story is coming up!

Debbie Mason knows how to get the tears flowing. Her stories are treasures for the soul. Christmas With An Angel marks the start of something special. Mike and Shay are opposites in every way. She's a girl with a chip on her shoulder, a crack in her heart and a reputation that precedes her. He's a man of privilege with the world at his feet and questions about a certain bad girl. Christmas With An Angel provides a taste of what looks to be a breathtaking tale. Can't wait to jump right in.

Wedding Bells in Christmas (Christmas, Colorado, #4) by Debbie MasonMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Found nothing unappealing about Wedding Bells in Christmas By Debbie Mason. Loved the small town, family feel to the story. Enjoyed the chemistry between Chance and Vivian. The matchmaking attempts proved hilarious. Even more funny were the lengths that Chance and Vivian went to deter falling victim. I received Wedding Bells in Christmas for and honest review. This story is an adorably funny and heartwarming read. (www.goodreads.com/review/list/25556913-isha-coleman)

Sugarplum Way (Harmony Harbor) by Debbie Mason
Sugarplum Way is all about the three H's: heart, humor and hope.  Ms. Mason gets in touch with her lighter side this holiday season.  With a little more laughter and not as many tears, she makes the heart rejoice and delights the inner romantic with an irresistible comedy that continues to give long after the last page is devoured. Endearing characters, a hint of drama and tempting secrets serve as the backdrop for a deliciously sentimental carol of the heart.

Let the tears flow, the heart open and the healing begin. Primrose Lane takes readers on an odyssey of heartache and deep thoughts as it inspires, informs and engages. In an instant one woman lost it all. Her happiness, her family and her ability to believe, now one precious girl, a tenacious man and some meddling mischief makers may help her gain it all back. Ms. Mason deals with hard to take emotions through the eyes of Finn and Olivia. From sorrow so deep it shatters the heart, to taking risks on the road to a fresh start. The mark of a good writer is allowing art to imitate life and Primrose Lane puts that skill to good use as it offers encouragement and hope along the way.

Jill wants more than to be the tomboy little sister or just one of the guys. She wants to feel like a sexy woman for a change and knows just the man to help her fulfill that dream. Debbie Mason adds style to her romances. Her Christmas Colorado series mixes small town vibe with sugary sentiment and heated romance. Risking it all Jill offers her heart and body to the one man that personifies all her hopes and fears. Sawyer was fun, sweet and clueless. His actions caused a great deal of heartache and chaos. Unintentionally. I like reading Ms. Mason's Christmas series because at the end, I leave feeling warm and fuzzy. She can cast her spell on me anytime.

Kiss Me in Christmas is like a Hallmark card. Opening it up takes you back to a time of simplicity and memories. Some good, some bad but all unforgettable. I hope that was the feeling that Ms. Mason was going for because she got it in one. I received an ARC of Kiss Me in Christmas in exchange for an honest review. Chloe escaped her small town heartbreak to build a career that has soared beyond all her expectations. Regardless of her success, she still feels inadequate and lonely. Easton is the culmination of all Chloe's fantasies come to life but she still doesn't think she measures up. Easton has the same frame of mind in regards to Chloe but for different reasons. Debbie Mason is constantly writing stories that are full of lovable characters that keep readers warm all year round.

Have not come across a twin swapping story since I was a teen reading Sweet Valley High. Cat and Chloe may be sisters but that is where the connection ends. Cat is responsible, serious and level headed. Chloe is a selfish, rude, bratty attention seeker. Cat is out of her element. Working and living in her sister's shadow is not something she enjoys. Snowbound at Christmas is an adventure inside a story. There are twists around every corner, revealing secrets and interesting characters to follow along the way. There are references to the Christmas season but Debbie Mason has written a story that can be enjoyed all year round. I received an ARC of Snowbound at Christmas in exchange for an honest review.
