"Isdragen" er et gripende eventyr om lengsel og vennskap. Den følelsesmessige avstanden hun holder til sin familie og venner gjør at jeg føler med henne i hennes ensomhet. George R.R Martin har skrevet en hjerteskjærende scene der Adara beskriver sine venners forhold til vinterens smådyr.
Nemi's tegninger skaper en fin ramme om fortellingen.

Lonely girl discovers her love
Adara is a winter child. In summer she's longing for the cold and the snow, and the small and large friends she meets every winter.
"The Ice Dragon" is a gripping tale of longing and friendship. Her cool distance to her friends and family makes me feel for her in her loneliness.
George R.R Martin has written a hartbreaking scene where Adara describes her friends behavior towards the winter visitors.
