I am a sucker for a firefighter. Add a single dad in the mix and this was almost perfect. There were a few areas I wanted more from but this still turned out to exceed my expectations from a new to me author.

This story had a cute premise. Predictable, but still cute. My issue with the story, and why it didn't rate higher, was because of the whole Kyle aspect. It often came across as cheesy and or forced. And the resolution of it was just weird and didn't make much sense or further the story.

Still, it was nice to see Hanna and Ezra again.

Cute, entertaining read. It was great to see familiar characters from the previous books. The plot of this book was different than I was expecting from the blurb. There were a few spots in the story that I wished had been fleshed out but still, this was a cute story for a rainy evening.
