Filled with great information, this one was a little difficult for me to make it to the end. It could just be that my timing was bad. I had just read a few books that were paced much quicker than this one which may have skewed my expectations. Despite the rocky start that I experience, the multitude of examples do make their points very clear and the road map provided at the end was extremely helpful for tying the core information together.

I would definitely recommend this book to any woman entering the professional world well before she's looking at taking on new leadership roles. The challenges and strategic moves mentioned should be practiced at lower levels to help get us ready for those leadership roles in the first place. As is also mentioned in Nice Girls Still Don't Get the Corner Office, women aren't playing the same game as men in general, and this book is directed at women's common pitfalls. While it is directed at women, this book would also be helpful to other genders. The challenges mentioned are common for women taking on new leadership roles, but they are not exclusive to them.
