Max and Heidi’s story takes the readers on an emotional ride where one minute you are laughing, the next wanting to smack Max around a little, then to your heart breaking. Max makes a huge misjudgment when it comes to Heidi and this thought lasts for years, so when she comes back to work at the hospital, she once was at the anger Max has towards her never fades. Heidi knows working under Max is going to be a challenge, but she can’t seem to understand why he is so angry at her even when she is the best resident the hospital has. The back-and-forth banter is amazing because Heidi isn’t afraid to stand her ground and let Max know when he is wrong. When things come to the light Max realizes how awful he has been and wrong he was about her. The connection they have is undeniable and life as doctors isn’t always easy as a reader you will feel your heart break as it does for them. Together they help each other, and you fall in love with every character. I can’t wait after that extra bit at the end to see the next brother’s story.… (plus d'informations)

Such a sweet and emotional read with some of my favorites of this series. Kat and Hunter are finally going to get married but there are a few bumps in the road along the way. I absolutely love Hunter and we see he still struggles with his anxiety but now he is learning how to manage it and with the help of Kat and her family he does amazing. Kat is so strong and wonderful for Hunter and together they are perfectly imperfect that you fall in love with them. The road to happily ever after isn’t always easy but with these two amazing people and strong friendships they have it all handled.… (plus d'informations)

In this short story there are so many emotions packed into it that one second you will be swooning with heart eyes and the next your heart crushing along with the characters. Kat is a hard worker that has had a crush on Hunter for a while now, but she doesn’t think he sees her in that way, so she pushes those feelings to the side. Hunter has also harbored feelings for Kat, but he has kept them under wraps for many reasons one being her brothers and another his fear of being hurt because of his anxieties. When these two decide to finally put themselves out of their misery and finally go after what they want which is each other they have obstacles that stand in their way, but can they overcome them to finally find their happiness? This was such a great read because the worries that Hunter had were so real and something that was relatable that it hurt my heart to see him struggle, but love will always find a way. Claim your coal and go after what makes your heart happy and that’s what they did.
