I listened to the abridged audio and read the book. That may be overkill, but you have to have the whole Lou Holtz experience. The man is driven. It is no wonder that he has accomplished so much and is so well-respected. I wish I had a tenth of his energy and insight. An interesting life story with a bit of motivational speaker thrown in.

Outstanding memoir and inspiration book that's more about how to live life than college football, although it has enough stories and anecdotes for any football fan.

12/04 This is a good book although not as insightful as I thought Lou Holtz would be. I think it gives some basic points but does not really stretch. You can probably read this though in a day or two as its light reading.
