I looked at this and read a few chapters (maybe about 1/3). This is a textbook, so it's hard to categorize (and hard to rate as well). It is well organized and seems to cover most of the things that a textbook on soils should do. Things are clearly explained. I found out what makes a soil acidic or alkaline (has to do with hydrogen ions). I would have liked to have seen a discussion of grazing systems and their impact on soils.
