Not perfect, I found some problems with the recipes, for example, she presents ginger brew as the same as ginger beer when they are quite different and hibiscus flowers are used for tea, not the leaves, although the leaves can be eaten. The text is a bit too flowery for my taste too. That being said, the range of offerings brings the books up. If you are interested in grown-up alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, you could give this book a look.

Very nice chicken book. American based information without a lot of info on breeds we can't really get here. Nice photographs. Laid out well with all the necessary information. There are plans for a small chicken house and interesting side bars about different folks and why they raise chickens. One of my favorite chicken books.

soom good ideas and the recipes are great. I especially like the pumpkin cupcakes with cardamom frosting.

Urban egg farmers will get lots from this. I thought it was cute but maybe not so practical for us!
