felt like i was reading the same page over and over. think i would have enjoyed it more if i was 13 or 14.

I have been a huge fan of the author ever since I read "After Dinner Mint," and this short story was definitely up there with the blood and gore that I have become used to. I wish that it could have been just a bit longer, but I still enjoyed it very much. Can't wait to read more from this author.

This short story looks at a family preparing for the holidays. I did not enjoy it. I found the writing to be simplistic and full of unnecessary description. It's stated to be humor but I did not find it to be particularly funny. A significant portion of the story is a group of siblings having inane arguments with one another. The rest of it is description of an absurd amount of food. There's very little story here.
