Does Your Baby Have Autism?: Detecting the Earliest… par Philip Teitelbaum
Very interesting book on autism. I don't know much about this disorder (although I know more now) and I don't have a baby or any child with autism. This is what happens when I browse bookshelves! I wasn't aware that autism is thought to be a result of brain damage - or at least that the brain doesn't develop in "normal" ways. The idea that children at risk can be identified at such an early age - and that interventions can be introduced earlier - is a very hopeful approach. Now I'm off to find other books about autism!… (plus d'informations)
The recipes aren't quite my taste, but the book lies flat when you open it and things are kept on one page when possible. Few things are more irritating than trying to keep a cookbook open when in the middle of something or having to turn a page. This book avoids that. For that alone, I give it four stars.
