This is an excellent book for young children to read about table etiquette. It explains manners and the reasons why we should follow them in restaurants. The illustrations are fun and colorful and the text is short and simple to keep a young reader engaged. There is a section in the back called "Amazing Facts" that tells a funny fact about how burping is not acceptable here, but in China, it is considered good manners. There is a recap of the top five tips for good manners and a glossary in the back as well. I really enjoyed this little book and think it would be a great tool to help in explaining why we should mind our manners at a table. ( )
