As a teen, it was spine-chilling. The characters were so flat, I knew nothing about them, and didn't care whether they lived or died. This being the horror novel with the premise it has, nearly every one died. It's not a well-executed horror novel/mystery either. There's no foreshadowing and few clues. The end is a cop-out and again, not well set-up. Some parts are vaguely creepy but it's rare. The cover, font choices for chapter headings and inside illustrations would be creepy in another book. Here, it's just tacky. Boring, poorly set up and barely followed through. Here, it was just cheesy. This is barely middle-school level reading about high schoolers. Lots of "telling not showing" and everyone was so flat. This could have been a hundred pages shorter and would have lost nothing.. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Four families from Scarletville, each with an only child who is about to turn eighteen, are going to spend the summer in Sinter's Cove. The teenagers think something strange is going on, and then one of them disappears. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
